The Dosages of Cialis for ED and BPH Treatment

As needed

If the motive is manly to stimulate sexual activity now and then, the drug is to be taken only prior to sexual intercourse. In most cases, the initial recommended dosage is 10 mg for an adult male, though it can be then changed to either 20 or 5 mg depending on its efficacy and the overall tolerability of the patient.

If the intent is to treat both erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia at the same time, then 5 mg of Cialis drug is the most often prescribed dosage. It is better to take it at approximately the same time every day, without regards to any sexual activity.
